ETZ does not require KYC. If risk or operational checks prevent a transaction from completing, ETZ refunds funds when possible. If the payment originates from a hot wallet or exchange (i.e. Binance), ETZ may request a separate refund address.

Overview

ETZ-Swap operates as a trustless, no-registration instant exchange catering to privacy-focused cryptocurrency users. The platform enables direct coin swaps without requiring email verification, account creation, or identity documentation. With an overall score of 8/10 and a privacy score of 90/100, it ranks among the more privacy-respecting options in the non-custodial exchange landscape. The service maintains a trust score of 67/100, reflecting room for improvement in operational transparency while still delivering functional anonymity. Users access swaps directly through the web interface, with Tor availability adding an extra layer of network-level privacy for those who need it.

Privacy & KYC

ETZ-Swap sits at KYC Tier L0 — Trustless, meaning absolutely no account is required to initiate or complete transactions. This represents the gold standard for privacy-conscious traders who refuse identity verification entirely. The platform does not mandate email submission, eliminating a common tracking vector used by competing services.

  • No signup process: Generate a swap directly without credentials
  • Tor support: Access the exchange through onion routing for network anonymity
  • IP logging status undisclosed: No explicit confirmation of logging practices available
  • Refund privacy consideration: If operational risk checks block a transaction, ETZ attempts refunds; however, payments originating from hot wallets or exchanges like Binance may trigger a request for a separate refund address, potentially creating a privacy trail

This refund policy represents the primary privacy friction point — users swapping from exchange accounts should prepare a clean return address in advance.

Supported assets & payments

ETZ-Swap maintains a deliberately focused asset list centered on privacy-preserving and established cryptocurrencies. The platform supports Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), and Lightning Network transactions. This selection prioritizes fungibility and censorship resistance over token variety. Monero integration particularly distinguishes ETZ-Swap for users seeking transactional opacity by default. Lightning support enables faster, lower-cost Bitcoin settlements without on-chain footprint expansion. The narrow scope suggests intentional specialization rather than feature bloat, though users seeking altcoin diversity will need alternative venues.

Security & custody

The non-custodial architecture means ETZ-Swap never holds user funds beyond the swap window. Users retain private key control throughout, with the service acting as an atomic intermediary rather than a deposit-taking institution. This eliminates the custodial breach risks plaguing centralized exchanges. The 67/100 trust score indicates moderate confidence in operational reliability — functional but not exceptional. Community reports suggest transactions typically complete as promised, with occasional confirmation delays rather than fund losses. The refund mechanism for failed swaps provides basic consumer protection, though the requirement for separate refund addresses from exchange-originated payments introduces operational complexity.

Who it's for — verdict

ETZ-Swap serves privacy-maximalists, Monero advocates, and Bitcoin users seeking frictionless swaps without identity exposure. The L0 KYC tier makes it ideal for journalists in sensitive regions, politically exposed individuals, or anyone practicing financial privacy as a default. Tor compatibility extends its utility to users in restrictive network environments. The platform suits moderate-volume swappers rather than high-frequency traders or those needing extensive asset variety. The trust score caveat suggests starting with smaller test transactions. For 2026, ETZ-Swap remains a viable option in the shrinking no-KYC exchange ecosystem, though users should verify current rates and prepare clean refund addresses when swapping from exchange wallets.

Used it along with b1ack exchange, it went smoothly. I think the fees are a little less than b1ack. Simple to use and extremely fast. Exchanged some USDT and ETH for XMR in a few operations. So far so good, gonna use it if needed.
