Overview

NiceVPS positions itself as an uncensored, privacy-oriented infrastructure provider for users who need sovereign digital presence without surrendering personal data. Operating from Dominica with offshore datacenter locations, the company delivers a vertically integrated stack: shared web hosting, KVM virtual private servers, bare-metal dedicated servers, zero-logs VPN access, and anonymous domain registration. The service explicitly markets itself to high-risk businesses, journalists, activists, and anyone seeking hosting that resists takedown pressure. Unlike mainstream hosts that demand government-issued ID and phone verification, NiceVPS opens accounts with minimal friction—just an email address and cryptocurrency payment.

The provider owns its hardware and network equipment outright rather than leasing from third parties, which reduces supply-chain trust assumptions. Network infrastructure includes multiple fiber uplinks, carrier diversity, and advertised speeds from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps on dedicated server plans. Storage tiers use NVMe SSDs across the product line, and all VPS plans run under KVM virtualization with dedicated resource allocation. A 99.99% uptime guarantee is stated, though the company does not offer test IPs or trial periods for prospective customers to benchmark latency themselves.

Privacy & KYC

NiceVPS sits at KYC Tier L1—fully anonymous or pseudonymous. The signup flow never mandates real names, addresses, or identity documents. Users may optionally submit personal details solely for invoice generation if they choose; otherwise, accounts operate under whatever identifier the customer prefers. This policy extends across all service categories, making it one of the few hosts where anonymous domain registration is structurally supported rather than merely advertised.

  • No mandatory personal data: Explicitly stated in FAQ and policy pages; optional invoicing only.
  • Tor access: Full site functionality available via onion address, including signup and management.
  • Email required: A valid email address is necessary for account creation and service notifications.
  • IP logging status: Unclear from disclosed materials; the VPN product claims zero logs but host-level logging practices are not transparently documented.

The privacy score of 79/100 reflects strong pseudonymity policies tempered by this opacity around infrastructure logging and the email dependency. For users operating under serious threat models, combining NiceVPS with Tor or a separate VPN at signup closes some gaps.

Supported assets & payments

Cryptocurrency is the native payment rail. NiceVPS accepts Bitcoin and Monero as headline options, with the homepage also referencing Dash and Zcash alongside a catch-all "other cryptocurrency accepted" clause. Monero is particularly significant here: it remains the only major cryptocurrency with default on-chain privacy, making it the optimal choice for users who want payment unlinkability. The provider's branding as "Monero-native hosting" is not merely marketing; XMR is treated as a first-class settlement method rather than a converted-afterthought.

Pricing starts at €3.99 monthly for web hosting, €9.99 for KVM VPS plans, €0.10 per day for VPN access, and €59.99 monthly for dedicated servers. The VPN entry point is notably cheap for no-logs service, while VPS and dedicated pricing sit in the mid-market range—competitive with premium offshore hosts but above budget providers. No long-term contract discounts are prominently advertised.

Security & custody

Security architecture centers on customer control and physical resilience. KVM-based VPS instances support full disk encryption and custom ISO installation, including Windows—uncommon flexibility for anonymous hosts. Users may supply their own installation media rather than being restricted to templated images, which reduces pre-installed backdoor risk. Anti-DDoS protection is bundled across all tiers, though enabling it may trigger temporary rate-limiting on suspicious traffic.

Custody model is straightforward: you control your server contents, encryption keys, and configurations. NiceVPS retains physical access to hardware but does not hold customer cryptographic keys or wallet funds. The dedicated server tier offers power control, VNC, and PXE boot via control panel, giving remote hands capabilities without surrendering root sovereignty. PGP keys are published for encrypted support correspondence. Notably absent are any claims of third-party security audits or certifications; trust rests on policy assertions and technical architecture rather than external validation.

Who it's for — verdict

NiceVPS serves two overlapping constituencies: privacy-conscious individuals seeking anonymous domains and Monero-friendly infrastructure, and operators of legally gray or high-risk content who need offshore hosting with takedown resistance. The no-KYC onboarding, Tor gateway, and cryptocurrency payments create a genuinely low-friction pseudonymous experience that few competitors match across hosting, VPN, and domains in one portfolio.

However, the trust score of 51/100 signals material risk. Community reports include allegations of fraudulent behavior, blackmail, and account balance seizure—particularly when users deposit large amounts or register with real identifying information. Other complaints cite post-purchase service suspensions, limited VPS locations (Netherlands-only at times), and missing NS records for domain products. These reports are contested by positive reviews praising reliable Monero-native service delivery, but the polarity suggests inconsistent operational integrity.

Our assessment: NiceVPS is a viable option for technically capable users who compartmentalize risk—use Monero not Bitcoin for payment, minimize account balances, encrypt all data at rest, and never volunteer real identity. It is not suitable for those seeking audited, institutional-grade reliability or broad geographic server choice. Treat it as sovereign infrastructure with corresponding self-responsibility.

I bought a domain on their website and like evocative_preserver_2710 said, after you buy and your service gets in pending they log you out and ask you to activate mail. The activation link sometimes arrive, but even if it arrives, after you activate it you can t still login to the account and the funds remains stuck! Support is slow and they work only a few hours from monday-friday. I do not recommend. AVOID it.

As first, this hosting doesn't have NS records for domain which is ridiculous. Second and the most stupid thing I have EVER saw was when I few hours ago added email to NiceVPS account and then I waited for confirmation to come to that email. Then I realized that email doesnt work and that @emaildomain.com that I use was dead so confirmation email never arrived nor I could login. What happened next? I COULDN'T LOGIN INTO NICEVPS ACCOUNT UNTIL I CONFIRM EMAIL. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Ticket support is abnormally slow. They work mon-fri so I need to wait whole weekend in order to get response from support, IF I get it at all. Avoid this hosting. If KYCNOT admin wants proof, I have it in form of screenshot

Well known scammers in the hosting industry, known for blackmail and fraud. If you register with your real name, and deposit a large amount in your balance, they will try to hack your server and get onto your PC so they can steal any crypto you have. After giving them my real name and address, they started threatening to make bomb threats and false crime reports to my address, unless I deposited $1000 into my account balance.

Very small selection of countries for VPS, only ONE country (Available locations: Netherlands) and very expensive cost compared to others!

NiceVPS is Monero-native hosting for the privacy crowd — anonymous VPS and domains, no KYC, no leaks. Just sovereign infrastructure, paid in XMR. 🧱🕶️

Used them for buying an anonymous domain with Monero. Worked well, no KYC. Interface seems a bit dated, but did what it had to do.
