Overview

Textverified operates as a no-KYC phone verification platform, supplying real US-based mobile numbers backed by physical SIM cards rather than voice-over-IP lines. The service targets privacy-conscious individuals who need temporary or semi-permanent phone numbers to receive SMS one-time passcodes and voice call verifications across more than 900 online services. Users can choose between instant one-off verifications, short-term non-renewable rentals lasting 1-14 days, or ongoing renewable monthly rentals with area code selection. The platform emphasizes speed—accounts activate within minutes—and supports automation through a documented API with bulk pricing tiers for power users.

Founded around the principle of minimizing personal data exposure, Textverified positions itself as a shield against data brokers and breaches. Its core use cases span social media account creation, dating app registrations, ride-share and food delivery setups, and developer integrations where maintaining operational separation between real identity and online accounts matters.

Privacy & KYC

Textverified sits at KYC tier L1 — Anonymous, meaning it permits pseudonymous access without demanding government-issued identification, proof of address, or legal name verification. Account creation requires only an email address, making the barrier to entry deliberately low for users prioritizing operational privacy.

However, the privacy picture carries meaningful caveats:

  • Email requirement: The mandatory email linkage creates a potential correlation point; privacy-focused users should pair this with aliasing services or temporary inboxes.
  • IP logging status unclear: The authoritative data marks IP logging as indeterminate, suggesting users should assume session IP capture occurs and route traffic accordingly if location privacy is paramount.
  • No Tor or onion gateway mentioned: The crawled site content does not reference an onion mirror, implying standard web access only.

The platform's privacy score of 69/100 reflects this functional but imperfect anonymity model—stronger than centralized exchanges demanding full KYC, yet not as hardened as fully ephemeral services requiring no account at all.

Supported assets & payments

Textverified accepts Bitcoin as its cryptocurrency payment option, aligning with its privacy-oriented user base. The crawled site also references "all major credit/debit cards and a variety of major cryptocurrencies," though specific altcoin support beyond Bitcoin remains unspecified in the authoritative data.

Community feedback reveals a notable friction point: users seeking to fund accounts with Monero (XMR) report minimum top-up thresholds of $50 or higher, or in some cases complete unavailability of XMR despite site claims of broad crypto acceptance. This inconsistency suggests payment rail implementation may vary by region or change dynamically. Credit and debit card payments offer convenience but strip away the pseudonymous advantage that draws privacy-focused users to the platform.

Pricing starts at $0.25 per single SMS verification, $1.50 for short-term non-renewable rentals, and $5 monthly for renewable numbers with indefinite retention—competitive within the disposable number market, though not the absolute cheapest option available.

Security & custody

Textverified employs strong encryption for all online sessions according to its own claims, though the service does not publish detailed security audits or penetration testing results for independent verification. The numbers themselves are non-VoIP and tied to physical US mobile infrastructure, which generally improves deliverability and reduces platform blacklisting compared to virtual number pools.

There is no custodial element in the traditional crypto sense—users purchase credits rather than deposit funds for storage. Account security hinges on standard email-password authentication without apparent multi-factor authentication options for the account itself, a gap that somewhat undermines the service's security posture given its privacy-focused positioning. API users should treat access keys as sensitive credentials given the financial value attached to bulk verification capabilities.

Who it's for — verdict

Textverified earns its strongest recommendation from social media managers, digital nomads, online resellers, and privacy advocates who need reliable US phone verification without surrendering government identity. The non-VoIP number quality and broad service compatibility (Gmail, Tinder, WhatsApp, Twitter/X, Discord, and hundreds more) distinguish it from cheaper virtual number alternatives that frequently fail on major platforms.

However, the trust score of 54/100 and mixed community signals around payment method consistency warrant caution. Users demanding maximum anonymity should note the email requirement and unclear IP logging practices. Those seeking Monero-native, zero-account services will find Textverified falls short of ideal. For 2026, the platform remains a pragmatic middle-ground solution—genuinely useful for identity compartmentalization, but not a bulletproof privacy tool. We rate it 6/10 overall: functional, fairly priced, and acceptably anonymous for most threat models, yet with room for improvement in payment transparency and account security hardening.

Textverified provides an excellent service. Their platform for bypassing phone verifications with disposable numbers works flawlessly, and their reliability and speed are impressive. We’ve had a consistently positive experience using their API, and it’s clear they put a lot of effort into delivering a high-quality product. That said, the API documentation could use an update. There are still references to v1 in certain places, which can cause some confusion when integrating newer endpoints. Updating the docs to fully reflect the current API version would make the developer experience much smoother. Overall, Textverified is a fantastic service, and this minor documentation issue aside, we highly recommend them. Just please, update the docs!

I wanted to verify an account and pay with Monero but they only allow to top up your balance with 50$+ when using XMR so i decided not to do it. Here are the currently available Payment options with minimal deposit: XMR(50$), USDC(50$), USDT ERC20(50$), ETH(50$), USDT TRC20(20$), LTC(5$), BTC(5$) and Card (2,50$)
