Really good service, all chats are locked down with a public key, so no one can actually access them. The problem with this platform is that there are many scammers, and many false services. But if you are lucky, like I was, you can actually have a good experience with a seller.

EditorialOverview
XmrBazaar is a privacy-native marketplace purpose-built for the Monero ecosystem. Launched in May 2024, the platform has grown to over 10,000 users, 8,000 active listings and more than 5,000 completed orders. Unlike conventional e-commerce sites, XmrBazaar operates on a purely peer-to-peer model: buyers and sellers connect directly, negotiate terms, and settle payments in XMR without the platform ever touching funds. The marketplace covers physical goods, digital services, jobs and even rentals, making it one of the few places where users can genuinely live on crypto without leaving a paper trail.
The interface is clean and tracker-free, with no Google scripts or analytics embedded. Registration is minimal—just a username and password—and users can optionally attach an email, Signal, SimpleX or Session handle for notifications. The entire experience is engineered for pseudonymity first, convenience second.
Privacy & KYC
XmrBazaar sits at the top tier of privacy-friendly services. Its KYC classification is L0 — Trustless, meaning no account is required at all to browse listings, and even the optional signup demands zero personal documentation. No government ID, no proof of address, no corporate permission.
The platform scores 100/100 on privacy for several concrete reasons. All chat conversations are encrypted with public-key cryptography, preventing even the site operators from reading message contents. The clearnet domain runs without invasive third-party JavaScript trackers. For users seeking additional protection, a Tor onion mirror is available, routing traffic through the anonymity network. While an email can be optionally linked for password recovery, it is not mandatory—users can operate with nothing more than a self-chosen username and password.
- Zero identity verification at any tier
- Client-side encrypted messaging
- Optional email/Signal/SimpleX/Session contact methods
- Tor access supported for network-level anonymity
Supported assets & payments
XmrBazaar is Monero-only. Every listing, every transaction, every donation flows through XMR. This deliberate restriction is the platform's core strength: by refusing to integrate traceable cryptocurrencies or fiat on-ramps, XmrBazaar eliminates the surveillance vectors that plague multi-asset marketplaces.
Users new to Monero are directed toward privacy-preserving acquisition methods—cash trades via Haveno or RetoSwap, gift card exchanges, peer-to-peer platforms like LocalCoinSwap, or in-person purchases tracked through CoinATMRadar. The site itself never handles fiat conversion, maintaining clean regulatory distance from money-transmitter obligations. Sellers publish listings with prices denominated in XMR and provide their own wallet address; buyers send funds directly from any Monero wallet such as Cake Wallet or Feather Wallet.
Security & custody
The marketplace is explicitly non-custodial. XmrBazaar does not hold user funds, does not operate wallets on behalf of traders, and cannot freeze or reverse transactions. This architecture removes the honeypot risk that centralized exchanges present.
Trade security relies on two settlement paths. The default is direct payment: the buyer sends XMR straight to the seller's external wallet once terms are agreed. For higher-risk transactions, the platform supports client-side 2-of-3 multisig escrow managed by the buyer, seller and an independent mediator. This escrow is generated in the user's browser, not on XmrBazaar servers, ensuring the marketplace cannot unilaterally release or confiscate funds. Both parties must mark the order status—paid, shipped, completed—before reviews unlock, creating a basic reputation trail without deanonymizing participants.
Community feedback on escrow reliability is generally positive, though the usual P2P caveats apply: verify seller history, start with small amounts, and never finalize early before receiving goods.
Who it's for — verdict
XmrBazaar earns its 9/10 overall score by executing a narrow mission with exceptional fidelity. It is purpose-built for privacy-conscious individuals who want to transact in the real economy without surrendering identity data. Monero maximalists, gig workers seeking payment in XMR, renters avoiding credit checks, and privacy advocates all find genuine utility here.
The 77/100 trust score reflects inherent P2P friction rather than platform malfeasance. Scam risks exist—some users note suspiciously polished review profiles—and the JavaScript-dependent chat interface can frustrate those running hardened browser configurations. Yet these are structural challenges of anonymous commerce, not failures of XmrBazaar specifically. The site's transparent fundraiser, active development since 2024 and growing order volume suggest sustainable commitment to the Monero circular economy.
For anyone seeking a no-KYC, anonymous marketplace where privacy is architectural rather than marketing, XmrBazaar stands among the most credible options in 2026.
XmrBazaar is a trustless, peer-to-peer marketplace built exclusively for Monero, enabling anonymous buying, selling and renting without accounts or identity checks.
- + True L0 trustless onboarding with no mandatory contact details
- + Non-custodial architecture eliminates platform honeypot risk
- + Client-side encrypted chat and optional Tor access
- + Clean, tracker-free interface without Google scripts
- + Active ecosystem with 8,000+ live listings and multisig escrow support
- − Monero-only policy excludes users holding other cryptocurrencies
- − P2P scam risk requires careful seller vetting and small test transactions
- − Chat functionality relies on JavaScript, complicating use in locked-down browsers
- − Optional email linkage slightly weakens the otherwise accountless model

★ 4.3/5 · 8 ratingshow exactly does a clearnet site running js like xmrbazaar gets 100% on a privacy score? i'm sure @pluja is whiter than white and definitely isn't doing them any favours though
Hi, this isnt a review, but just a comment: I dont think XMRbazaar should get a thumbs down in the KYCnotME rating, for blocking illegals stuff on their market. They say upfront that its for legal stuff, so theyre not misrepresenting anything, and Doug is doxxed, so he has no choice really. Site can use some improvement but Doug (site owner) is trustworthy, he hosts the top Monero podcast.
New review.📝 Please delete my old positive reviews! Important information for those who will be reading reviews about this resource! Never conduct transactions on this site without ‘escrow’🔒✅ which is the name of the transaction format when the administrator or a trusted representative of the administration acts as an intermediary for your transaction. ⚠️There are a lot of scammers on the site!⚠️ The site administrator will not help you if you are cheated; he will ask you to write a report on a special platform. In other words, if you are cheated by user ‘A’, the site's support service will not help you. You will write a report about fraudster “A”, he will change his profile (IP, new account, etc.) to ‘B’ and continue to cheat other decent users! When I suggested that all transactions be conducted through the administrators, as was the case on OpenMonero (when the old version was working), the administrator refused.
bought some service accounts. works. ESCROW supported
Completed multiple transactions on XMRBazaar so far, had no problems, and the site works well.
XmrBazaar is the perfect match for Monero fans — private, peer-to-peer, and packed with real-world utility. Buy, sell, rent — all with full privacy. 🛒🕶️
Reviews can't be trusted , way to easy for sellers to fake sales and reviews hence the 2 stars , I do like the UI
Deze website is erg makkelijk te gebruiken en ik heb mijn eerste aankoop gedaan. Wees voorzichtig met oplichters en koop altijd van iemand die je vertrouwt.
Pros: Convenient registration without KYC, you will be given a token, you do not need mail or phone. The site is clean without google trackers and scripts. There are reviews that do not delete. There is a Matrix room to ask questions to the support team. Cons: You will not be able to log in if your computer time does not match the NTP server. There are few sellers and buyers.
Very nice platform for advertising and publishing offers like cash by mail but not easy to communicate with sellers if javascript is disabled due to client-side encryption with PGP
A reliable platform for Monero trading.
